About the role

As Deep Mine's Senior FPGA Engineer in our Radar Team, you will be in charge of the implementation of the features that need to run on the programmable logic of our airborne radar’s FPGA, such as signal processing tasks, sensor acquisition and synchronization or RF data storage.

As a founding engineer, your expertise and foresight will significantly shape Deep Mine’s commitment to a culture of unparalleled technical brilliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Demonstrated Experience with either VHDL or Verilog, preferably both
  • Demonstrated Experience with Xilinx FPGAs and Vivado
  • Experience with FPGA-based Radar system or other FPGA-based RF
  • systems is nice to have
  • Experience with DSP is nice to have
  • Experience with sensor acquisition on FPGA is nice to have
  • Experience with standard bus protocols (I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe, …) is nice to have
  • Experience with Electronic Warfare is nice to have

Responsabilities

  • Preliminary and detailed analyses/simulations prior to implementation
  • Implementation of radar signal processing tasks (I/Q demodulation, FFT, …)
  • Implementation of sensor acquisition and synchronization (Inertial Navigation Sensor, …)
  • Implementation of RF data storage capabilities
  • Debug, test and validation
